Much of what we do at Hearts for the Children would not be possible without the help of volunteer groups who come throughout the year. Many times groups help with construction projects, for example our pediatric hospital, which is under construction right now. Groups also come to help with our food programs and medical clinics. There are many opportunities as well for ministry, from visiting homes in the villages to leading Bible school for the kids.

Each team brings their own talents, often quite diversified, and all can be used here during a trip to come serve with us. Each team that comes we have seen plant seeds that we are able to watch grow for years to follow.
For a little extra cost of transportation and accommodation, many groups opt to take a one-night trip to one of the top-rated most beautiful places to visit in the world–the volcanic lake at Panajachel. Also, historic Antigua is just down the road, a perfect place for a half or full day of sightseeing and shopping.
