Hello everyone,We've had two groups this past month. The first was a church from Dallas, Georgia. They helped us out tremendously with construction of the walls and roof of a warehouse that we're building to hold supplies come from the US and Canada. The second was a group from Switzerland, which is our first team from outside of US and Canada, this team was incredibly interesting. They came to see how God was working in Central America and visited our ministry as well as other ministries in Guatemala and El Salvador. They left here with the desire to be more involved with our ministry in the future, which is very encouraging. My parents also came to visit! We had a great time visiting the ministry and seeing some of the sites of Guatemala. We got to visit the Mayan ruins at Tikal, which was really incredible. Check out the pictures on my website at www.heartsforthechildren.org/brent. One of my prayer requests from last month was for more Guatemalan helpers, and it's been exciting to see God answering this. Four of them are now very involved in helping me teach the kids during our Sunday and Wednesday services. Please continue to pray about this as there is a lot more work to be done, and it's great to have the local people helping with it.I've also been able to spend some more time with kids one-on-one when I've taken smaller groups of them on hiking trips around the rivers nearby. I cannot stress out important this time is, and I'm grateful to be able to do it more often. Finally, I've been in prayer about what to do this next year, and I feel that God's leading me towards teaching. It's too late to apply for graduate school for this fall, so I've been looking at possible teaching jobs here in Guatemala and Honduras that I could do for at least a year to gain experience. Or I could also just wait and start grad school next January. I would certainly appreciate your prayers over this decision!Thank you for your support and prayers!Brent
